QLD Network of Alcohol and other Drugs - Sector and Workforce Development Officer
QNADA represents a dynamic and broad-reaching specialist network within the non-government alcohol and other drug (NGO AOD) sector across Queensland, with 41 member organisations. QNADA members provide drug education and information, early intervention, outreach, detoxifrication, residential rehabilitation, psychosocial and medical treatment, relapse prevention, justice diversion and social inclusion services. This position will be responsible for particularly delivering and implementing the workforce development workplan with Metro South Primary Health Network. This will include providing secretariat support to collaborative structures in the Brisbane South region. Applicants are required to have a demonstrated ability to research and analyse complex issues and develop appropriate responses in a collaborative environment. They are also required to have a demonstrated ability to plan, manage and convene events, forums and consultations. This will be combined with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team environment, demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and intermediate to high level of skill in using the Microsoft Office suite of software.
This role is full time (contracted to June 2018) and is based in Brisbane CBD. The renumeration package will be in the range of $60, 000 to $70, 000 per annum plus super and salary packaging options.

University of Queensland - Postdoctoral Research Fellow: Lives Lived Well project
This position is within the School of Psychology, which is one of the most prestigious in Australia. The successful applicants will be working with Lives Lived Well Professor of Alcohol, Drugs and Metnal Health - Leanne Hides, to conduct independent research within one or more fields of activity relevant to comorbidities in addictions and mental health. The appointees will supervise or co-supervise research students in relevant areas and apply for both independent and collaborative funding relevant to the research focus. Applicants should have submitted or completed a PhD in psychology or a related area and have the ability to develop, organise, complete and publish research outcomes in high quality outlets with demonstrated awareness of current international research trends. Experience in managing research projects is desireable. This role is a full time, (flexible working arrangements can be negotiated), fixed term appointments at Academic Level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $92, 142 - $104, 419 p.a, plus employer superannuations contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range of up to $107,806 - $128, 020 p.a).
