North Brisbane AOD/mental health referral guide
In 2015 QNADA was funded by a North Brisbane Partners in Recovery Innovation Fund grant to undertake a dual diagnosis project to improve access to specialist AOD services for people with a dual diagnosis of AOD and mental illness.
This project involved the development of a suite of harm reduction resources and an online referral pathways tool to assist AOD and mental health workers to make better referrals between the two sectors.
The North Brisbane AOD/Mental Health referral guide has been developed for use by workers in the AOD and mental health sectors, and for people with a dual diagnosis to navigate specialist services in the region. The guide poses a series of questions and provides a list of services in the region which may be able to assist the person seeking support. The following map shows the location of the North Brisbane Partners in Recovery catchment area.
The referral guide requires a login, which can be obtained by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with one. For more information regarding the individual services please contact the services directly. If you are looking for services outside of the North Brisbane region please access the QNADA Service Finder for more information.
